Dissapointing, very dissapointing,  the 3000 season ticket sales was a bit missleading then. I know it's holiday season, but that is nowhere near last year and the 'Wise effect'.

So which stands will be close for this one:

5/6    Stratton bank
Evns  Town End
8-1     Arkells
20-1   The stand formerly known as the Nationwide stand.

And no, I'm not really taking bets.

Thats piss poor if thats true, surely can't be worse than Northampton.

I would have thought more around 8000 for 1st home game of season.

I think 5,000 is piss poor, with no ticket increase and the novelty of Sam Parkin's return I expect 6,500-8,000 as its the first home league game.

yes I know all that .. but will the work be completed in time and will we actually GET the safety certificate as the work has been left extremely late ... Im just thinking it might be harder to relocate people come Saturday and they might not be selling Town End seats ..

I'm not surprised by that at all. Peterborough only got just over 4,000 for the Southampton game last night and I am sure we will see some really low attendances tonight and tomorrow. We will probably get one of the better crowds I would guess.

either mex or OST has got the game wrong.

5000 for Luton would be low, 7000 to 8000 should be a fair guess for the first home game.  A loss and we might expect it to drop in to the 6000's after that, a win should sustain it for the next one.

5000 for Charlton would be about right.  In 1994 when we played them at home in the LC the season after playing in the top league, with 4000 season ticket holders, we got just over 3000 from memory.
