Has anyone got one of these? Is it true what they say about them? Could someone point me in the right direction to pick one up?

Cheers

ah...

Terms and conditions of sale

The sale and ownership of the Eurovox MAX Unit is completely legal.  Anyone installing software on this unit which is designed to view cable TV is BREAKING THE LAW. All units supplied by us are supplied BLANK and are legal.

While we are aware of the very high demand for these products we would like to make it 'crystal clear' that all units are sold blank and legally. If you have any doubt whatsoever buy elsewhere.

1.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU ARE COMPLYING WITH UK AND EU LAW. IT IS ILLEGAL TO RECEIVE SUBSCRIPTION-BASED TELEVISION AIRTIME WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT. IT IS ILLEGAL TO CONNECT THIS ITEM TO EQUIPMENT THAT YOU DO NOT OWN, WITHOUT THE EQUIPMENT OWNERS' PRIOR CONSENT. PURCHASING THIS ITEM MEANS YOU AGREE TO, AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS.

That'd be a 'no' then

To be honest, I reckon the TV Licence is more of a rip-off than a Sky subscription

Both are a rip off. So, I take it you dont know where I can get one ?

I've seen them on ebay and on internet sales, but would prefer to pick one up locally rather than buying blind.

No, sorry to hijack your thread - was just intrigued. Best thing to do is to ask people (perhaps on an internet forum) if they know where you can get one locally.

Ahem.

I thought you said Atlanta then. I was about to offer my condolences and then read Gloucester. Sorry about that...
