My thread about the new kit got me thinking and i've owned alot of town shirts

My first ever was a red one with GWR FM sponsership on it  Cheesy

I also had the white and black GWR FM away shirt

Then the red BURMAH shirt made by Diamond leisure from the Hoddle era

Then the red BURMAH shirt made by Loki from the premiership days

Then the CASTROL red shirt made by Mizuno

Then the lime green CASTROL shirt which was to celebrate our div 2 championship season  Cheesy

Then The first Nationwide red one made by Mizuno

Then the dark blue Nationwide away shirt made by Xara

Then the red Nationwide one made by DGI

Then the red Nationwide one by Strikeforce from last season

Then this season's red one and blue one  Cheesy

I make that 12 shirts!!!

My very first Swindon match (12th sept 1987) we were home to Birmingham and lost 2-0. We were wearing a very tight kit with LLG sponsership ! Remember?!

Being of the old school......I always felt that  wearing the shirt was something you earned by being good enough to play for the club.....so although in my early youth I thought I was a mixture of Di Stefano, Jimmy Greaves, with the better bits of Ernie Hunt and Don Rogers it wasn't to be.

My kids had the lot mind....including goalie tops, even the Digby pavement pizza.

I have owned loads of STFC shirts. They are very rare in Edinburgh!! The worst one was the green and white away one from about 92!! It was minging but one of my favourites!!
