on another note, anyone know how to change a keyboard back to english/normality as i get me '@' sign by shift & 2 rather than the one with the apostrophe and i can't find a bloody pound sign (see the word 'quid' above)

You've got it set to US keyboard. Go Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options. Click on the Languages Tab, under "Text Services and Input Languages" press the Details... button.

Another Window should pop up, you shoule be able to tell it to have English (United Kingdom) as the input language.

I'm using an American Keyboard (fuck knows why, I think I thiefed it from somewhere), but I have my layout set to British. I'm crazy. Loads of my keys don't match up.

There isn't a "£" on an American Keyboard. Not the one I'm using anyway.

Ace. Here's something crazy for you to do Ben, change your keyboard to the Dvorak layout.

Don't throw a strop Ben! Are you worried the rain will ruin your hair? I never expected you to be so vain... Wink

I was owed 800 quid and was offered 600 by Barclays. I snapped their hand off.

According to the Penalty Charges website, the whole "don't put any claims in as they won't be processed until after the trial case" is just a smokescreen by the banks to deter people from banging them in...
