Saw something on TV a bit back reviewing these things and their advice was unless you can spend thousands on a better plasma then steer well clear (for now) of the cheaper models. They can have problems with the sound being out of sync with the picture and screen burn.

Infact the advice they gave was until plasma technology is a bit more reliable (and cheaper) then the best thing to buy is a top of the range widescreen old style cathode ray, which is still cheaper than a cheap plasma but far superior in picture/sound quality(although a bit bulkier).

I guess you didn't want to hear that. Shocked

The LG 42" Plasma tv is currently £999 in Comet and was awarded 4 stars out of a possible 5 in Which? magazine.
