If you are involved then I think the rum rations will indeed be Fred.

And the Tia Maria.

And the pear cider.

And the (insert any relevant ethyl alcohol here)

Vic was open as normal, as was Los Gatos. Seemed that the Old Bank, Kings, Mcshitzies  and Longs were as well. Old Town's on a hill, happy days.

On a Friday the Vic's open till 2. Think the Wheaty's open for a bit, as in the Royal Oak. Steam shuts at 11, not sure about the Donkey, think the castle closes at 11, beehive might be midnight. Fuck knows about the Prince of Wales, or the Globe or the George. I have no idea about them,

As you keep going about the Vic. Do they have any decent gigs anymore? Haven't seen any really known bands play there for a while since, Funeral For A Freind and Kennedy Sountrack a few years ago.

Fuck knows. I never get there until after the bands finish.

They had that Holly Golightly bird who's on that White Stripes song playing the other day (err.. "It's True That We Love One Another" I think). I was impressed that they had somebody I'd sort of heard of.

edit:
who?

I always mean to check out the comedy night but never get round to it, maybe I will next month.

Oh and I'll be in the Vic later if anybody fancies a pint. I'll get in earlier tonight though, about 10ish.

You should take more notice of the local music scene Pip! Some great bands about. No one really bothers with live music around here but they should. August 23rd at The Vic a band called Kellik are playing. They should be right up your street actually. Met them when i had a gig at Riffs once and the singer is a big Silverchair fan  Wink
