All the roads from town centre to West Swindon are shut, I'm stuck at work Sad

Oh and Sippo, Highworth's closed off as is South Marston so you're stranded in Faringdon Cheesy

I was supposed to be on my way to Oxford about now but having taken 30 minutes to drive from Rodbourne to the Greenbridge Roundabout (which I hasten to add is submerged) and saw the traffic chaos, I had a Cartman moment and leant out of the window and exclaimed: "Okay, that does it, screw you guys, I'm going home."

greenbridge= where i need to go to get home. shit

well thats my coaching session out the window.

All the roads are flooded here in Covingham and there is no chance I can get to Calne....

I left about 40 minutes ago, in that time I've left my house gone towards the messenger and back. I could walk that in about 20 minutes.

You've got people driving up the curb and driving along paths and grass as you cant even see some of the roads.....my car is fucked and I could change gear so I've had to kinda glide home in neutral!

Ummm....good luck to those trying to get home after work.....you might want to do yourself some over time

If anyone's in the centre of town you're pretty much fucked.

No getting to West Swindon because Great Western Way, Wootton Bassett Road & Cheney Manor are shut.

No getting to East Swindon because Queens Drive and Dorcan way are closed and Greenbridge and Covingham are under water.

Dunno havent been past there....but if you're coming down from greenbridge past the messenger then you're fucked....thats the worst of it......the water is higher than the curb and down that road towards patheon people are driving on the path!!

If you're coming from Liden way its alright I think.

Saying that, I expect the astro turf is pretty flooded, I expect it should be cancelled.
