The dual carriageway towards new B&Q from where the Porsche garage is was flooded in the middle this morning so god knows what its going to be like when I come to go home.

Im avoiding Rodbourne Bridges thats for sure as thats one of the worsdt places when it rains.

Why not?  Make them play in torrential rain..... that'll toughen them up a bit!

I'm hoping it keeps raining all day. Might make it quieter at work. I really can't be arsed tonight. Already got to go in an hour and a half early and they just tried to get me to come in at lunch as well. I think I was a bit harsh on the phone. Oh well, I'll apologise later.

Jesus wept (ha!). What is this country coming to?

When I was at school we had to do cross country in weather like this.

We are breeding a nation of softies.

When I was a lad I hat to work 14 hours down a coal mine, come home, get changed, then go out on my chimneys sweeping round. When I got home I had to do a list of jobs around the house.

Kids today, don't know their born.
