Right im a bit thick

1) can you have setanta and not have sky sports

2) as jan says is it just various premier league games and then just rangers,celtic and liverpool tv in the week.Will there be any lower league games shown

Thing is why would you want Rangers AND Celtic tv, surely one or the other would do if you were of that persuasion.

1) Yes, it's a standalone channel(s) @ £9.99. I think they even scrapped the 12 month contract
2) Just prem, jock footy, some FA Cup and England home friendlies AFAIK.

Personally I hope they go bust and Sky pick them back up. Screw the EU and their ant-monopoly laws.

1/ Yes, Setanta is independant from Sky Sports.

2/ When you subscribe you get all 8 Setanta channels for a tenner a month. Soon to be 9.

To be fair to them I think Serie A, Bundasliga and wait for it Blue Square Premier football is also being shown on Setanta this season.

I might ring up and subscribe as long as they promise not to give me the other channels.

I'm just a footie fanatic like most on here. Not really fussed about the golf/racing channels either to be honest but would like the use of Liverpool TV though.

 There's alot of people out there who like a range of sports, and if football, golf and motor racing is your thing then £10/month is better value than Sky Sports IMO.
