Same as you Ben, i've been meaning to sign up for a donor card for ages, but never got round to it. Despite working in a hospital

Yey indeed, same as everyone should be forced to give blood, unless they are diseased in someway.

As good Muslims though I don't think we're supposed to give up our bits otherwise we don't get the Virgins.
Unless they prepare us Halal style.
In seriousness though it’s a cracking idea so it’s a yes.

A bit of an emotive subject, I carry a donor card and don't have a problem with it, my wife doesn't have a card and does have a problem with it!! However, as I tell her many times, if you are going to be burned up at the end of your life and a close relative could be helped by using one of your organs what would you choose then? :?

I really like the idea of bits of me living on in other people if something bad happened to me. Not sure my Organs are in great shape so can't really imagine who'd want them.

good thinking this, because all the strange people who really care about their bodies that much are able to opt out and the rest of us can maybe save someone without even doing anything

Not fussed what they do, I expect it's more to do with the families of the deceased objecting.
I can't give blood though because I have the aids.
