Apparently tomorrow I'm going to do the research into setting up a regional dodgeball league.

There's a possibility that I'll have to work tomorrow night. Depends on how busy it is. I said that I'd wander up about 7ish and check out the situation. Anybody fancy a free Tapas and a beer? I think we need to set up a team and organise some friendlies first. Is dodgeball and olympic sport? If some of us get good then we might get to represent our country. It's the sort of game I imagine the Japanese and Koreans are amazing at, so I wouldn't expect a medal.

Today was really fun. Hadn't seen the tef crew for a while, we're a crazy bunch of social losers. Well apart form me, and Bennett. Bennett's ace now he's drinking again. We've been seeing a lot of each other.

It'd been a while since I'd seen Sonic, VD or Lady so it was nice. In fact I hadn't seen Lady since she went away, she's funny.

Anyway, I'm digressing (not sure that's a word, but hay ho). When are you back on our wonderful island? And what have you missed, I know you've been back recently but there must be something that you can't really do/get in yankland.

I'm back permanently at the end of January, but I'll be back once or twice before then for job interviews and the like.

What do I miss about England? Apart from STFC, probably the following:

Decent bread - everything here is sweet, and the good stuff is bloody expensive.
Traffic jams. Everywhere.
Monkey World.
Always being about an hour away from a beach.
The fact that Burger King is quite good in England, whereas its crap here.
Warm beer. Proper beer as well. Add cider on draft to that list too. And Leffe Brune.
The fact that you have to walk to a cash machine/pharmacist.
That a mobile phone is not an essential tool for driving.
Shops that close at half five. Costs me a fortune when they stay open until ten.
Dairy Milk. Made by Cadbury, not fucking Hershey.
History. The fact we have some.
Curry.
Fish & Chips.

I can probably think of more, but thats enough for you to get your teeth into.

Good list, apart from the highlighted. Shops opening late is the bestest thing ever. I can buy Wine up to 11pm now.
