saw this on saturday night, has anyone else yet? thought it was a load of utter gash apart from a couple of bits which made me laugh. the girlfriend wanted to leave after about 45mins as it was too nasty for her, but pursuaded her to stay. the ending came out of nowhere, was expecting it to go on for a bit more.

the willy bit was the worst

Was going to go along but our tin pot cinemas aren't showing it.

I was only going for the gore factor and didn't have much hope for the plot.  That bad then OF, rating out of 10?

Ta Chubbs, worse than the original to boot and I’d have put that at borderline watchable?

I’ll have to wait for Grindhouse then for my next trip to crack one off in the popcorn

aye we had to treck to vue in angel as there were hardly any cinemas in london showing it, at least from my brief search.

er......like chubbs 3 out of 10, for the few chuckles. i really wouldn't bother. wasn't even that gorey apart from the completely unnecessary bit with the woman who stripped off and got showered in her victims blood and the willy bit.

the novelty of the original wore off and they've done nothing to add to what the first did, so very little of value really

i saw it last wednesday and didn't think it worthy of discussion (apart from the funny bits as previously said)

I haven't even seen the first one due to the fact that its basically a gore-esque film without a plot.

And why is Tarantino still endorsing it? he should tell his mate Eli Roth that it's shite.

Shame, thought the first was rubbish but held out some hope that this would maybe worth a watch as I thought it'd just be an all out gore fest.

Ho-hum.

*SPOILER*

(and it really says something that this is one of the best parts of the film)

she cuts off his willy and balls. a dog eats them.

art is subjective man, you can't say that til you've seen it.

the first one was alright, i liked the way it took the piss out of itself and the genre. it took me until the second watch to notice those bits, which i also liked. at least that aspect was original and interesting, coupled with some nasty gore (n.b. the achilles bit) and a mild plot.

the second was just unjustifiably silly, nonsensical and repetitive.
