Portuguese beers Sagres and Super Bock are well worth a taste. Probably expensive in the UK but cheap as piss over here. Strangely Stella is one of the cheapest lagers at 1 Euro (about 65-70p)  a 500ml can. Unfortunately I think it tastes of cat piss.

I've always been partial to a good Dutch beer for it’s purity and ability to prevent dirty smelly hangovers if consumed without mixing ones beverage groups.

La Trappe Blonde is a good bet while you just can’t go wrong with decent Heineken.   Beers

I have to say I am not a huge fan of dutch beers, Amstel, Heineken and Grolsh are not on my favourites list however I'll have to try La Trappe Blonde as I am liking my white beers at the moment.

Personally I think the German's are king of beers, Bitburger especially.
