Because he's predominantly right footed ffs To straighten it out you're both right, but Dave is more right... I remember an interview he had not long after we signed him and he stated that his natural foot is his right... But one day his old chap said he should learn to use his left and he spent a year or something using mainly his left. After a while it became his better foot, and his preferred one for shooting, but as stated by the man himslef he is actually right footed! So there...

Can some one who can be bothered have a look at all the goals he has scored and tell us which ones were right foot/left foot/headers etc? I could have sworn he is predominantly left footed.

Not saying he isn't right footed, but he always says he prefers to use the left peg. Confused me when I saw him running up to take it right footed. As far as I can remember he took the one against Brighton with his left. That was one hell of a pen!

On another note that contradicts myself, a few of the best goals I've seen Sammy score....
1. Wycombe away- 50 yard run and 18 yard curler- left footed goal 2. QPR home- that mental 15 yard lob- left footed goal 3. Hull City home- left footed curler at the Town End 4. Barnsley home- another left footed curler a few weeks ago at the Bank
In the end, it just all adds to his greatness really :beers
