Have touched on this a little before, but have not really eaten meat for the last three weeks, and for the first time in about a year I am beginning to think that my UC is under control.

I really am beginning to feel well again, and I am sure that the new diet is working.

To all you veggies out there, could you possibly point me in the right direction of good on line recipe sites etc.

I have googled a lot of stuff but just came up with the usual "meat is murder" brigade

Cheers

I use: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/ quite a bit

Lots of veggie stuff there somewhere ... I've not touched meat for 16 years now.

That would be ace Si

I like nice Salads, tomatoey stuff, had a 3 bean cobbler (with like scones on the top) tonight and it was lush.

Fish is a good option for me.................I like it and does not play me up

I am quite open minded about it all really, Ill try anything (except tofu and meat substitutes mate)

Fred, take a look through these. Might need to search out the veggie options, but I'm sure you'll find something. Plenty of fish recipes as well.

BBC Good Food - http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/

Cooking Light - http://www.cookinglight.com/cooking/

Last two are American sites btw. Rachel's a keen cook and gets a lot of inspiration from (although not necessarily follows) a lot of these recipes. Enjoy!
