Maybe. He was offered the job after Souness got sacked. To be fair with all the injuries the toon have had, Roeder has done a good job.

A farce with no manager.

All seems to be fitting into place now. I think he'd do a good job at Newcastle with the financial backing they always seem to give new managers and with some of the players he already has there. That is if he gets the job of course

Its set up nicely... People in the media banging on about how they don't understand why he's left Bolton. Lets face it, they're never gonna be a contender for bigger things. He's taken them as far as they can go. It was like getting blood out of stone with the board when he signed Anelka. Without the money backing for bigger players, no chance at taking out the big guns... Newcastle on the other hand? Are we gonna see the glory days of Shearer back?

the thing with roeder is that he is too nice, the players need a kick up the back side and glen never did that, you never saw him angry, he had not emotions, not the making of a manager, and im glad to see him go.

perhaps but Newcastle have been plagued with injury after injury... what more can a manager do? Earlier in the season they showed a mock up of the injured starting 11 and put it next to the one he had to play. It was ridiculous. I know injuries are part and parcel but they have been dealt a poor hand this season.... unlucky Roeder...
