Get this redunderthebed idiot off this forum, i've seen a few posts from him lately, one slagging off our fans for running on the pitch which is plain stupid, our fans were celebrating and now he has said something stupid here, what a total plank, go and share your pathetic views elsewhere redunderthebed......
Bobby Robson is a legend, great manager, always liked the man, thought he was a great england manager, i wish him well in his recovery..

I was not intending to be offensive here. All I was saying is that old people die and there isn't a lot that we can do about it. I have never really understood why Bobby Robson is considered such a hero anyhow. Everybody hated him in 86 and 88 when England were crap. Now all of a sudden he is some kind of football legend.
He is/was just an average manager who never really won anything in my view.

Oh dear me! FA cup and UEFA cup with Ipswich for starters. League titles in holland and portugal as well. Add to that assembling the squad that got England closest to ever winning the world cup outside these shores and i think youve got one impressive managerial c.v to add to an impressive playing c.v. you may not have been trying to be disrespectful but your ignorance in saying that he was an average manager who never won anything is certainly disrespecting the man! |
