I don't see why they are bothering to change it. The old one was definitely better

Not as good as the round one that was worn on the 80s shirts.

One of my housemates is a Villa fan - he's not happy with it (like the majority of their fans).

One of the reasons behind the change is in their quest to increase their global image... So why replace Aston Villa with AVFC?

The positioning of the star isn't very good either.

I dont understand why clubs want to make the new badges look so simple. Some of them look like they were designed by 4 year olds.

according to my "designer" mate in London it's the latest rage, to simplify things.

I guess it comes down to 'branding', simple brands then to be recalled better.

This new Badge is quite fitting to be honest.

My favourite new design is Burton Albion's.

A combination of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents logo, the Ministry of Silly Walks and Arsenal's badge.

Chelsea and Spurs have gone back to badges that look more like their old badges... We've pretty much done the same.

It's also about simple designs being "in" as mentioned by Janaage.
