I've just done the same, everything into one loan. Also now sharing a house with a mate rather than renting a flat on my own. £300 a month instant saving. Planning to do it for 4 years to get about 12-15k deposit for my own place.

Prices down here are rediculous, a one bed flat in the same block as my old one was up for £139,000. Fucking noooooo chance of buying. Mind you I was bankrupt at 21 so I've not done myself any favours  :roll:

I only managed to buy a house by getting it with my bruv and my old dear giving me the deposit,she said I wont get anything when she dies though .
