Barca is notorious for being expensive to fly to, try lastminute.com, but as a rule it is pricey. In Aug 2003 I paid £138 return to th ain airport with BA, Girona airport is a lot further out IIRC.

Try skyscanner.net
Type in where your going and the dates and it searches all the major flight companies.

I've fancied Benicassim for the last 2 or 3 years, but never actually taken the plunge. Let us know how it goes, i'd be interested to hear from someone with first hand experience.

Awesome festival - that's why i flew to barca - very well organised - ensure you book your train tickets and it's like a flight you sit where you are allocated and can't stand in the aisles. the best campsite is the one nearest the festival site - admittedly furthest from the beach, very organised, spotless toilets and site - good communal showers too - and black meshing over the tents to keep the camps as cool as possible. I think the last few years a lot more English are going, when I went it was a definite minority - but now its much more popular I don't know how it has affected the chilled out hispanic atmosphere.
