Ashlee Simpson was unfortunately caught lip-syncing last night on Saturday Night Live last night. What perturbs me is that during the close of the show, she blamed her band saying "I feel so bad. My band started playing the wrong song, and I didn't know what to do, so I thought I'd do a hoedown. I'm sorry! Live TV! These things happen!"
Shame on you, Ashlee, for trying to fool your fans (and other viewers) and then having the nerve to blame your band. Shame on you. This all comes after she's professed her disgust for people who lip-sync in an interview with Lucky Magazine.
LM : What are your takes on lip-synching?
Ashlee Simpson : I'm totally against it and offended by it. I'm going out to let my real talent show, not to just stand there and dance around. Personally, I'd never lip-synch.
