What a load of boolocks this is about the Army thinking about not sending him to Iraq, because he might get shot? :evil: What a load of shite, he joined the army to fight so he should go and fight, they dont do it to any others in the army surely?

The problem is there would be increased attacks on all of our forces in the hope of getting at him, meaning all of our troops would be in more danger for the sake of him being out there.

Maybe they should have thought all this through before they let him join up. He wants to fight - I think it's greater concern about increasing the risk to him and moreso the others around him. If he was captured it would be an absolute disaster.

I think Tans has a point. If you look back at the Second World War, loads of famous people were involved - Telly Savalas, John Wayne, Tom Hanks, Kenneth Moore, Audie Murphy, Steve McQueen,Richard Attenborough,Douglas Bader. Never did them any harm (apart from Bader, obviously)
