What newspaper do you read?

I avoid all news of a current affairs nature like fuck, although i do read the back of the Adver and have the odd gander within.

I'm far too cynical and hate to be given someone else's pre-formed opinions from the pages of a paper where, they report something in their own eyes, something in the papers eyes, or from a certain perspective to generate a certain response. Be that more sales, an opinion on a politician,  some attrocity we have to help with/cause.... It goes on, everyone has an agenda, none of which i choose to follow or care about in the slightest. I do not want to be influenced by some cunts who have a vested interest in what has been written.

I generally buy the independent although the ever increasing amount of green articles is getting a bit heavy going, so occasionally i 'spice' things up with the times

Telegraph Monday to Saturday, Sunday Times.

I find this gives the best sports coverage, in my opinion

My folks get the daily mail so when i lived with them I read that, the adver - although I read it online these days.  If I want an easy read I like the Sun, for some decent info teh indpendant.  Usually I jsut buy the Sun or NOTW at the weekend for the footy and a TV guide.  Not really all that fussed about reading the jumped up opinion of some social commentator - beit some oxbridge twat I've never heard of or Lorriane Kelly - aside from Clarkson 'cos he's a legend.

Not at all, I don't really have a problem with The Sun. It tends to focus on the celebrity, and I don't give a fuck about them. I only have a problem with The Daily Mail because it tries to present itself as some kind of serious, intelligent option when infact it has Satan for an editor and it's journos are his little helpers.

And not the "North Somerset Independent" newpaper that my old man bought for me last week when I asked him to get me the Independent.

I read the Sun during the week, as i want a general idea of what has happened in the world, but without too much detail. It's just something to flick through while i'm eating my sandwiches really.

Star & Times during the week and whatever seedy scandal rag I can get my filthy paws on Sundays.

Must admit though I now tend to get most of my midweek news from a variety of sites and won't bother with a paper unless it's local or I'm looking to kill time.
