I want to see it as well but given that every film I've wanted to see in the last few months has only been on at arthouse cinemas, I'd imagine This is England will be no different.

It'll probably be on at the Phoenix in Oxford actually, but it's a bastard to get from where I live  :x

I've never been to the phoenix,but as you say it will probably be on there though,just have to keep on checking the listings i suppose.Ssssoooo want to see it,it looks ace!

I have no idea how it works... Why is it not on in Swindon?
I just guessed if people go and watch it they'll start to put it on in more places?
I dont know if my driver will take me to Oxford!

Depends on the distribution company, as it's unlikely to be a large company there will be a limited audience and only arthouse cinemas will show it as the chain cinemas won't make much out of it. There's a German film out at the moment called The Lives of Others which won some Oscars but isn't on at the Odeon/Cineworld et al.

Anyone been yet?  I went yesterday and it's good but not great, although there are some decent performances in there and the soundtrack is :advercool:

No i haven't Sad It doesn't seem to be playing anywhere near bloody Didcot[surprising considering our new cinema opens tomorrow Wink  Cheesy ]Its not  even on in Poxford,bastards!I saw the South bank show Sunday night,made me want to see it even more,just have to wait for the dvd i suppose Crying
