My mate has an Xbox 360, but no PC and not hooked up to the net. whats the best way for him to get on xbox live? will he need to buy a wireless router?

He can use a wireless router to pick up someone elses connection in the area for free. But if the signal's weak, the game will lag and will defeat the purpose. So just contact a service provider and get hooked up

i dont know alot. just tell him to ask for the fastest connection he can possibly afford when he speaks to them. This will in turn make online gaming better for him and the people he plays
