What you want is a deep fat fryer, then collect a basin of dripping from various meats, such as pork and beef....bacon roasts etc......and fry your chips in that.  Can bung in a bit of lard if your dripping basin gets low....

My mate had one and followed that exact procedure.

Bacon flavoured chips mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

He got rid of it after he put on a stone in a month Cheesy
