Sometimes you have to go for the hard line to kick some realism into debates.
The Trust/Consortium are pitting their wits against a bloody evil empire. Shall we give them an inch? What realism? The fact is that the NDA is being sorted out by the lawyers, stalling won't achieve anything in the long-term and us taking a "day off" won't bring about the demise of the Consortium. The board aren't the Third fucking Reich. Yesterday was the first home game I've enjoyed for as long as I can remember, even if we have given them some sort of advantage then at least most of us had a nice, pleasant and relaxing day out for once. I think Sussex was being sarcastic. Considering what you've said tonight, I'm beginning to wonder what the fuck posessed me to apply for the board. |

Its all beyond me
I had an ace day yesterday, it was ace not thinking about the protests etc.
It doesnt mean that I have turned into a board apologist, far from it. I just wanted to enjoy the game and the occasion, and I will be the same for the remaining 2 games.
FFS its a long time since we could walk around with smiles on our faces ..................AS FANS !
