Fuck the view, I'm sitting on the bank because it'll be easier for a pitch invasion afterwards  Cool

Blackburn went 2 down as I remember, they were reigning champions and then Shearer just turned it on and was class.  My only bank experience was 92-93 Vs Birmingham 0-0 draw, all other areas had sold out and it later transpired that some tickets me and my dad had won in the adver for the main stand had got lost in the post and turned up about a month too late.

Think they beat us and drew watford away in next round, my stepdad picked me up from swindon and got me a maccy ds and watch the game then drove me home.    That some effort to ride my mother!

That was a classic game Finney and Alison put us 2 up then typical us went and blew it conceding 3, wasn't it a Shearer hat trick? think I remember thinking Shearer 3 Swindon 2, sick.

One of the best games at the county ground tho covered most emotions that day.  Really hope Saturdays going to be one of those games that lives long in the memory  Cool

Pretty sure that Sutton scored the first. Wasn't Shearer just back after serious injury ?
