I'm in need of charity myself, i'm dead skint. It's very noble and nice of people to get behind it all, and without volunteers and stuff things would never happen. To me though, it seems with regard to Africa though that it is like throwing money after a lost cause. There are also a lot of rich African nations that could help out their neighbours rather than building tanks and palaces.

To be fair though your idea of skint is in another world to theirs! At least you can get food on the table and live a very rich life is comparison!
I agree about the other African nations but just because they do little does that mean we should also? It's like turning a blind eye and saying it is not our responsibilty so stuff them! I also will never believe it is a lost cause. This is human life we are talking about. Surely if we can help save peoples lives and give them a better quality then that is better than just leaving them to die?!

I know what you mean Dave, I can't be arsed with all this paint your face red, be "wacky" all day etc. I prefer to give to charity on the quiet don't feel the need to make a big deal about it.

Yeah, personally i don't prance around the place doing stupid things but i do think it is brilliant because it brings it into peoples minds! If it wasn't for things like RND then most people would just forget about what goes on and we would not be having this conversation!

well i had to resit a module in both english and history (AS) in which my results have shown i have doubled the mark in both  and i got a B in media...tonight will be oh so sweet, except half my face is as numb as a donkey :beers |
