It's only this charity i don't agree with... and Shelter. Comic Relief is bad for a number of reasons, most of all for keeping Lenny Henry's career alive.

As bad as it sounds I effing hate Children in Need & Comic Relief.  Bunch of vvanker celebrities "doing their bit", ie trying to ressurrect their washed up careers.

It was "Pay £1 to wear red, pay £2 if you don't."  Lesser of two evils.

I don't like RND as it is mainly focussed on giving Aid to Africa.  I'd rather give my moner to  UK Cancer Research, or to the old folk who get shafted in these recent times.

RND is getting seriously boring, as is CIN.  I have nothing against giving aid to Africa as when it comes doen to it they are the ones who are really struggling to live in this world.  I'd actually love to go over there for a year to help out.  I mentioned it to MrsJanaage and she was well up for it.  Not sure if I'd have access to TEF though!

I agree with what you say but you could at least spare a quid.

Personally i am very much in favour of helping in Africa and other places in the world where the situations are quite appaling!  We are incredibly lucky in this country, thats not to say it could not improve of course, and i feel it is our duty to try and help out others that are sooo much less fortunate than us.  The Mrs and I are going travelling in about 18 months for 6-12 months and we intend spending 3-6 months volunteering in Africa.

Of course i respect other peoples views entirely!
