I've no doubt this thread will slide down the forum within about 5 minutes, but i'm sure there are some that would be interested in this.
I've always despised Microsoft and their practices, Windows Vista was always going to be Satan's operating system. Seems Microsoft are trying their hardest to prove me right.
If it isn't bad enough that Windows Vista audio and video are reputedly strange and it needs 1GB of Ram to do fuck all, it gets worse.
I recall some time ago how eventually Windows was going to control the whole internet, originally it was going to be via a seperate internet called The Msn Network. Seems Vista is one step closer to this.
I also recall how the eventual goal of Windows was as a subscriber based Operating System, you pay your monthly fees, you stay legit. You don't pay your fees, your system stops. Nice.
I'm capitalist to the core, but fuck me, this is ridiculous. The one domain which is still owned by the people, is about to be grabbed by the balls, stuck in a box and priced up for subscription.
I'll be on the Lindows or Ubuntu soon then.
