worth a gander if you have it. bit unbelievable and does get quite dark (in terms of topic) near the end, but i found it entertaining enough. Some nice camera stuff as well.

I'm going to risk watching the grudge...with the lights out.

house mate rented. sitting in dark with laptop half watching it. Looks like sort of thing that might require higher concentration levels than I currently have.

None of my friends will got to the cinema with me anymore. Unless a films really good I get bored and fidget loads. So no-one will go with me.

I've always thought cinema bit overrated for dates aswell.

this film is really boring. there's no storyline just some freaky japanese thing terrorising this family or people with a connection to them?

grudge update:
if the idea is to build up intrigue it isn't working. it's creepy on occasion when that fucking weird japanese thing appears but i don't even care what it's supposed to be. the film could more or less end now and i wouldn't care

hollywood version:

ok i admit that the film had me startled in places but the ending is crap and the whole story is a waste of time. no build up of tension through the actual story or dialogue is made. In fact, every new scene (quite chapter-like) could be a short film in it's own right, everything seems out of sync and the film is shot in a stop/start fashion.

I thought Gothika was very good indeed. Though I'm no film buff. Just generally buff.
