Ive got freeview and it dont seem to pick up half the fucking channels, but i can go up to my mates who lives just up the road and gets all the channels! how the fuck does that work out? i would get sky but the old cunts that live down by me wont allow it, bastards :evil:

freeview is ace. it's obviously your aerial that's a bit rubbish. you could try a signal booster, that might help?
birdy i can get you televesion x codes so you can watch it for free. i think that would be such a special occassion it would warrant popping open the pringles

its a communal aerial and when the weather is bad it loses everything ie thie signal etc, and still the old coffindodgers wont let us get a dish

You might have luck by getting a booster, but otherwise your only solution is just to have a better communal aerial I'm afraid. You might even find that you get better analogue TV signal with a little indoor aerial, although these are useless for digital, since everytime you bump into it and move it it loses the channels.

Can you get on the roof of where you live? Make your own aerial out of coat-hangers (metal obviously), stick it on the roof and run a normal cable down to your window. Sorted.
