Its got great character. Lovely building with good sightlines all around. Personally I prefer it to Brixton but that may be just the surrounding areas. Capacity is 3000 compared to Brixtons 5000. Its a bit more arty than Brixton and you can get some decent food there as well.
Was going to reply but Saxondale got there first. I prefer it to Brixton as well, Camden Roundhouse is a brilliant venue. Editors should be AMAZING there
Cheers both. Only ever heard good things about it and not seen Editors before. Should be top drawer!

Agree with this mostly and (for a deaf old git) the acoustics seem superb, maybe because of the skill of the sound engineers ? have to say Brixton is a top venue too though.

Good sound system in there (d&b J series if you are really dull like me). The in house engineers are from a really big respected company (brit row) as well.
Sorry Ive bored myself with that answer.

Yes, they were very good. Ozzy's not what he used to be (as you would expect) but overall they were excellent.

Saw The Waterboys at Colston ( Mr Slaver himself ) Hall. Great gig. First time I've been to the Colston Hall since seeing Motorhead there is the early 80's. What a fanstastic venue - very impressed indeed.

The venue could be a fuck of a lot better. They had a 2 stage regeneration plan to it. Stage 1, the big gold bit at the front, got done and then they ran out if money. The backstage and production facilities are shit. Probably still the same since you went there in the early 80s. Having said that it's a really interesting building with a warren of cellars and tunnels which hold a wealth of history in both the broadcast and slaving trades.
