Hey I have just got an email from Paul Sturrock suggesting that I should buy a player for STFC. Sod the consortium they obviously now want my money to take the club forward!!!!
I feel that the way that the board is now trying to integrate themselves with the supporters through email is a great development to aid board - fan relations.
Oh no its a totally cynical load of bollocks too late!!

If you look at the email and reply address you will notice it has actually come from Dunwoody, so I've told them in no uncertain terms to take me off their mailing list, I want no association with that company!

Aye a club insider told me earlier that Luggy called the players this morning and said 'look lads no training today - I got to email all the fans and ask them to buy a player for the club!'
Hasn't he got anything else to do?

Hmm, aren't there data protection laws which prevent one organisation (i.e. the club) from passing on people's email addresses to another organisation (i.e. Dunwoody)? Especially for the purposes of unsolicited email (i.e. spam). Although I suppose it would be a defence to such a charge if there weren't two separate organisations involved and Dunwoody and the club were now effectively one and the same :shock: |

customersupport@premiumtv.co.ukemail that address and say you wish to opt out of usinf your information for all marketing purposes. If you read the terms of use on premium tv, they can pass your info onto the club, but in this case I would say this is marketing and if you want to opt out then you can avoid stuff like this in the future, if you're really that bothered.
