Great diversionary tactics to be talking about personalities. Typical of many local councillors I have locked horns with on working parties/committees - long on rhetoric and short on substance, like the sound of their own voice, can start an argument in an empty room and love to be the centre of attention.

Personally I don't see what the problem with Maverick joining is. I know it's a protest forum etc etc, but I still think any preliminary protest plans should be made public anyway, regardless if people will be against it. I guess there could be a chance people will tell the board everything before proper plans are released so I do understand. For the love of Swindon don't let Gazza join  Erm, I would be deleted right away so i wasn't even going to think of joining. one of the OTHER patsy's will join anyway. :roll: Christ, if you took that seriously you're more foolish than I thought. Chill, I was having a bit of fun. I know this is serious times and all that, but this forum is getting way too serious for it's own good. I was having fun too. it's still there, but don't worry board, you're really not missing out on much..or are you! you can see them now spending the whole day trying to access it - you'd do better going on to monster.co.uk and uploading you're CV...saying that, Diamond Mike will probably cart you off to his next insolvent adventure as soon as you've pissed off from our club
no doubt you'll be just as loved there...the job satisfaction of rolling into town, stripping the place bare, appointing Bob Holt as MD no doubt, Sandy to watch over your books (making sure no ex-employees shove them in a bag and do a runner) laying off the workforce, getting Mr Andronikou a few more referrals...ring any bells?...not a bad little set-up if you've got the moral conviction of Satan
