if it were me i'd go for one of the smaller agents, reason for this is they have fewer houses to sell so will push yours harder.but having said that if the property is good enough it will sell itself anyway.
the reasons i'd not go for connells are, they were meant to meet prospective buyers at my home and never turned up!after i'd left messages for calls to be returned, not once were they!
lost my mortgage details!never asked me for a key when completion had been set!
agree about their conveyancers too as they were slow to say the least.

good luck, and be prepared for fucking stress!

My folks have flogged three houses in the last 4 years - all through Charles Harding - seems to get good prices in reasonably quick time, and nice people to boot.

Theres a one bed similar on the same road going for £120k.

  Who'd pay £120k for a 1 bed maisonette?

I've just paid £125k for a two bed terrace.

You should move up north - I just missed out on a 4 bed, 3 storey terrace for £129k, 0.1 mile to train station, 0.2 miles to city centre shopping.
Should've offered a bit more  Crying

I'm just trying to figure out what the Birmingham market is like - I'll need to move there in September and having only rented in Studentville there before (over priced rent) I've no idea what I can get - I'm thinking of buying asap but will need to rent for 6mnths first I guess.
