He did pretty well to be fair to him.

Lashed? Certainly not! Beer was only 2% strength and wine wasn't great and a bit pricey!

Went down there in Jan 06 and someone tempted me with Cascade. Didn't like it one bit ! Coopers wasn't too bad. Much better than VB.

The only alcoholic beverage i was made to drink when i was at the WACA was what i think is called a Beam and cola,it was ok,seemed fairly strong to me,but then i'm not much of a drinker The only beer available was weak stuff,guess it means people spend more.

I think you mean Jim Beam and Coke, IIRC it was pretty popular over in Oz, never saw cricket but at the rugby league and Aussie rules they sold full bodied lager - or as full bodied as aussie lager gets, great fun on a friday night in Cronulla watching the rugby where everyone is nicely drunk.
