i downloaded 5.0.2 first thinking i would need that but it's all included in 5.0.3. :?
anyhow it was a good way to test my new 2meg broadband and a 15meg file took...................................................48 seconds from the time i pressed OK. Cool
when i first hit ok the file ran at 1meg ps. then it finished between 230kbps - 270kbps

now thats sweet

5.0.3 patch is busy so can't download yet

The third and supposedly final patch for Football Manager 2005 is due to be released today.  I'm one of the saddo's who is skiving college and waiting around on the SI Forums for it to be released, though I start work at 3 so I have to start getting ready around 2.15pm.  Is to be released with a data update, so Christian Roberts will definitely be part of the Swindon squad, along with possible some of our loan signings this season, although which ones and the duration, God knows.

Am looking forward to getting a proper career going, though the challenge will be to keep as many of the original players as possible.

Damn patches dont work on "unofficial" versions of FM2005  Crying

They do but you need to get a crack for them

ive got the no cd crack but it wont accept it if i install any patches

The new Swindon squad is quality.  Slabber is the only player on loan, though his stats don't look too good.  Jenks and Roberts look decidedly average also.

Just played two friendlies so far, beat Ayr United 7-1 away    and Halesowen 4-0 away.

Both Slabber and Roberts have scored so far, though Parkin has got 3.   Cheesy

Erm... am I just being thick? Or have I done something wrong?

I've downloaded the bastard into my FM file using the bittorrent wotsit. But instead of appearing with a wee picture of the SI logo as an application it is just a stupid icon of a Windows logo on a piece of paper. The file size is correct (80.7) but the file type is 3 File...

what do i do?? And what the fuck is a mirror? (Other than the thing I look into to see sex personified) :?

Download it again I reckon.

A mirror is another site which you can download the exact same file from.

I've now downloaded the mirror one on there and the exact same thing has happened.

When you downloaded it, what did you do? Just click the link on the SI site and select the FM file as the destination? My computer doesn't know what program to use to open it.... (?)

Suggestions?

Thanks for the help...

I've sorted it out now. I had to do something to the wotsit and then joop the thingy about a bit before striking the match.

Done
