The Stratosphere hotel is pretty standard IMO especially as it's located down the bottom of the Strip (gets rougher the further you go) we had a meal at the top of the Stratosphere and the view at night is amazing.
I stayed in The Aladdin Hotel which was very nice, my parents have stayed in the Mandalay Bay and they always go on and on and on about how nice it is there so you've picked a good one there Village.
All i know is that you can get drunk in the hotel casino's for dirt cheap, get 3 bottles of Bud and throw the waitress $5....sorted.

You'll need slightly more than 3 bottles of Bud to get pissed in Vegas. Not related specifically to Vegas, but for anyone planning to visit the USA - check out Embassy Suites Hotels; they have a 'Managers Reception' from 1730 to 1930 every night (certainly during the week) which equates to an open bar. Everything is fair game, including spirits. Say 'Hi' to Elvis from me  |
