Right, I am still undecided.
I am going to either get an Xbox 360, or wait and get a Playstation 3.
There are pro's & cons to both, but the pro's are slightly better on the Xbox 360 I think.
It is cheaper, basically the same spec as the PS3, has a better built-in audio system, and the online interaction is supposedly better.
But, the PS3, will play Blu-Ray DVD's, which will the next big thing after HD TV.
I know there are a few Xbox 360 users on here, and I would like to know what you think of it.

I've got an Xbox 360 and think it's well worth the money. The online stuff is really well thought out and works like a charm, and there are loads of decent games out at the mo. The only downside is reliability - i'm on my 4th xbox so far as the other three all died. The same thing has happened to all my mates as well. Another good thing for those of a dodgy disposition is it's piss easy to flash the drive to play copied games.
The PS3 looks alright but seems way too expensive and there'll be a lack of decent games for a while, and i'd rather wait and see which wins between Blu-ray and HD-DVD before i start thinking about using one of them

someone is already releasing a dual HD-DVD and Blu-Ray disc player. There will be no war.
And if there is a war then Sony will lose as they have denied any Blu-Ray licenses to the Porn industry. idiots!
having said that, I will be getting a PS3

it is a hard call on this.
The XBOX 360 looks awsum and the game play is supurb.
not tried online but as people have said it's supposed to be ace.
The PS3 i think will be far to expensive for the run of the mill gamer. Nintendo have solved this with the WII. An affordable gaming machine which interacts with other players and gives everyone the enjoyment.
Sony's PS3 sounds like it will be a monster for the gaming world but the price is off putting.
But until it comes out over here no one can really compare

i was going to wait for the PS3 but when it got delayed again i got a 360 and i have to say i am very pleased i never waited for the PS3! the 360 is a brilliant console it really is! i haven't done any xbox live stuff yet but i am going to soon. the graphics you get from HD are amazing as well. i love the traditional trigger buttons on the controllers too and the whole wireless thing so i dont have to get off my arse to switch it off! if i were you id get a 360. better value for money really

the 360 is an ace machine, but i will deffo be buying a ps3 and would choose that over the xbox personally.
really i dont think there is a right or wrong choice its all down to the individual and of course you can get a 360 now

I heard that the next GTA will only be on xbox... if thats true thats the only thing that would make me switch to the dark side. Reliability might not be too good on xbox, but then I'm also on my third PS2 !
