hate to say it, but it's more down to someone else. Iffy ddn't want to sell, it was taken out of his hands.

Whether it's a point of credit for our Greek friend or not is debatable - sell-ons are hardly rocket science pretty much standard in any transfer now. Can't believe there's not better out there for £300k, but he does do a certain job that a lot can't.

aren't sell on clauses usually linked to profit?  Didn't Mark D post some details about the deal on here not to long ago?

Well, whoever it is... As long as it's a good percentage... Kudos for once.

That's what I remember, back in the day when Joey B look like leaving Oxford we stood to make a nice chunk of all profit, which was actually gonne be good cos we sold for about £50K.  If fallon leaves for what he was sold at we miss out, and also loose any potential windfalls tied to promotion etc.

It will almost certainly have been Mike D who negotiated the sell-on and credit where its due to him for that. What isn't clear is whether any sell-on would be as a %age of profit, which is the usual thing. If so, we get nowt from a 300k fee, but we'll see, eh?

It's normally a % of any PROFIT only....so we've made bugger all.

Well, normally yes. But it may not be in this case - let's wait and see before jumping to conclusions

To be fair though we made plenty of pound notes when we sold him in the first place. £350k for a one trick striker who had only performed for half a season, not bad business, if we dont get anything from the sell on so what.

Add to that Kev that he had only 6 motnhs left.  Compared to the Parkin deal we did really well on him (even if it may have contributed to relegation)
