Has gone from Mansfield to Hartlepool for £80k .. we couldve done with him.
My guess is that we have NO MONEY AT ALL to spend under the current board/regime which would be no suprise thus we couldnt afford him.
Gutted tho as I thought he wouldve been ideal for us.
Looks as if Hartlepool have the ambition to go up tho doesnt it .. now we know why Monky wants to leave

Sturrock has already said that there'll be a clutch of clubs around us in the table, who'll throw some money at it, but we wont be one of them  Which suggests that at least he's not been given false promises. |

obvious we would have next to no money to spend, so im not expecting many comings. 2 players in was what strucock (hard to spell that) said, not surprising.

Why oh why do people bring this argument up every time?! They spend the whole ime moaning about how the club are spending money we haven't got, and then complain when we DON'T spend any money!
Okay, I am as annoyed as the next person that we don't have the resources to bring in new players. But come on! If we have no money to spend, there's no point going out flashing the cash - that's what put us where we are in the first place

There's plenty of reasons to take this view, one of which is that the Board have stated the bonus scheme for end of season promotion is one they never sanctioned and now consider over generous. For this reason, I wouldn't expect to see the Board being over helpful to Sturrock..... |
