What's been happening then?

I must say it feels good to have a whole weekend away from the football and the politics. I also found it interesting to discover that DMR is a hoolie. Hang your head in shame young man!  Wink

I've been 'largeing it up' in Southampton. Had promised I would catch up with some friends before Christmas without really realising the only time we all had available was this weekend just gone  :-))(

Think he may have been "out of the house"....which is a bit scary for an 11000+ poster.  This may be considered  a preface to the next stage of "getting a life"

Bizarrely I've never studied football stats in my life, occasionally something grabs my attention and I'll  look into it, but you need to be mega nerdy for serious stuff.....I did once contribute to a sizeable book, but it was just a massive amount of tedious work for little remuneration.....not my style at all.

All work and no play makes Reg a dull boy.

I have still managed to post a fair bit since the summer, but I reckon the studying and the working at the same time has definitely cut my posting amounts by a third.

Its a well established fact that work is the curse of the drinking classes.

I'm not convinced he does you know

Whisper it quietly but I think that Reg might sometimes have another window open to www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk when he posts on here, giving him access to a vast resource of STFC trivia.

I'd never do such a thing  Wink

Nah....back in the day, Mr Banyard approached me to contribute to his site, when he was getting it up and running.  But as stated I'm not in the least bit nerdy, so declined.   I did point out to him, however, there were quite a few errors, and other bones of contention.....but that I couldn't be arsed to list them.

It is nevertheless a first class effort deserving of nothing but praise.
