Fair play to everyone that wore Orange, it was nice to see the amount of people wanting the hats as they had heard about it and not just getting the hat as a fashion statement (!) there were many people that turned up with something small attached to them that was orange as well.

I know alot of Town fans. We all want change and support the consortium but all say the orange idea is shite. The new fanzine probably did more to drum up support than a few people wearing silly fucking hats. That's fair enough - you don't like the idea and choose to express your views differently. But a lot of people did back the idea and wore orange and it especially gave a hell of lot of people who don't want to engage in vocal angry protest an opportunity to show their views. What's wrong with that? I think it's an excellent idea and I thought it went really well on Saturday considering it was the first game. I think the orange thing is going to really catch on in the next few games and the more of those hats you can get the better. It shows misguided individuals like Nigel Bennett that 'true' fans can wear orange and still support the team. Oh yes, and all those people who think it is a 'shite' idea, I would like to know exactly what you are doing to change things? ? If you are doing something then fine, please share it with us, but if not I suggest you wind your necks in and not have a go at those are prepared to do something. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

I've just been through Wootton Bassett as the school kids finished, must've seen about 10 wearing the orange hats.

Hey, I don't want to get into a slanging match with the whole orange revolution, which is a shame because I know some brilliant swear words. I seriously hope it achieves it's objective and the sight of such a horrible colour has the board running for the hills. I can't help but feel that it is just delaying the inevitable, what will everyone be wearing next week? Orange hats and angry expressions? maybe the week after you could wave your fists as well. The board will hang on for as long as they can and it will take more than bad clothing to shift them. I understand peoples fears of destabilising the team if things were to turn more vocal but I think The Trust have made it clear on several occasions that the team and Paul Sturrock have everyone's full backing. It becomes a convenient excuse for a shit performance if you ask me. It saddens me but I think things will get nasty before they get better and we should just try and get it over and done with as soon as possible. I'm probably wrong though....I really should stick to threads about cheese, it's quite scary over here.
