I can't see why as they both excelled on the other side at Walsall?

Felt sorry for Brown because he at least tried. Roberts was a fucking waste of time, I'm with Rovers on this one. Shithead.

Brown did alright, but I still cant understand why he was stuck out on the right and Roberts left on the left.

When both played bloody well on the other side last week, and he didnt even try to change it.

My only thought was, maybe Sturrock thought Rovers left side was more dangerous and wanted better defensive cover there?

thats the only thing i could think of aswell, as it was obvious it wasnt working and still didnt change it

If I remember rightly a Sheff Weds fan came on this forum, or another Town forum and said Sturrock is a great manager but has a habit of playing wingers on thier wrong sides, looks like he was proven right!

i think the idea is for the winger to come inside and get a shot away... he wants the midfielders scoring more often and this is one way of doing it?
