Another view sound familiar

Quote
Following the views on here I had a rough idea what he'd be like, Overall I thought he did allright today.

He's not anything special as a target man, but he is quite tricky. We need a big guy and for an hour or so he showed some potential, a more athletic version of Ben May really. He won us 3 or 4 corners and caused Doncaster defence a few problems, although he did miss an absolute sitter in the first half. A cross from the left wing, Fola with a free header and only the keeper the beat.... heads way wide. Think that dented his confidence a bit, but considering he only joined us yesterday you couldn't ask too much from him.

Seemed to be a bit of a joke figure amonst our faithful already, some were clearly going to get on his back from the start because he's different

The joke figure sounds familar, but we never really got on his back, especially not 60 minutes into his debut.

I was thinking more of

"He won us 3 or 4 corners and caused Doncaster defence a few problems, although he did miss an absolute sitter in the first half."

It's the equivalent of us signing Trevor Benjamin last season on loan.

My sentiments exactly.

I met "Bruno" in the apartment after the peterborough game when i was kissing loads of town players arses.

He seemed like a nice bloke and was friendly and talkative. I didn't have the heart to tell him he was shit so basically told he was brilliant and i was envious of peterborough for having him. Or something like that.
