Why do people do it? Putting that flowery stuff around the side makes it look crap, especially after a while when it gets weathered and bin juice staines on it. Looks very tacky
Wheelie Bins were not designed to look cool and be a fashion statement. Why can't people accept this?

We don't get wheelie bins in Swindon........we're lucky to get bin bags.....pay for them miind. (Several times over)

we have green wheelie bins down in saff-amptun. i think people decorate them so nobody pikes them, and if they do they know who's done it

If I had a wheelie bin I'd decorate it to look like Ashley Giles ......just to annoy Boeta.

Reminds me of my Uni days some Gyppo had our bin away so we just left the bags out in th alley next door.
A couple of months later we made the front page of the paper as the council cracked down on dumpers. There in full colour glory was the contents of our rubbish being disected by a councillor and public health chaps.
Thankfully no one had any old letters or anything with our name or address on.
