if you shot doherty then as a career move it would be ideal as he would sell shit loads of records and go down in history as a troubled genius in the mould of morrison and bolan, but if you let him live, then people will see that he made a couple of very good albums with help from barat, then go on to make some utter shite and basically piss his life away which is what he is doing now.
I say leave him to it. would make a nice change to see someone that so many kids think is some sort of god that can do no wrong just end up as a bankrupt bum and lose all his talent (he is talented) through shit loads of drug use.

Shoot skinner and he would be in the news for a few weeks and then be forgotten about, but his music will be brought up every now and then.
People are not gonna cover his records are they really though.
