Ala cambridge when they played there eh Reg! Was John Beck the manager
at that time?

Millom

Sure was.....the most bizarre side I've ever seen...Daish and Kimble were hoofers in chief.

I seem to recall Kimble playing shedloads for Wimbledon.....maybe Daish went somewhere else?

We dont want em here then!

Millom

You'd imagine that would be their favoured style, but we are in L2 and as such, have to accept the play will at times be agricultural.
I love that term. No idea why!

I think they could be what we need. Two almost unknowns in terms of management but have proven they can atleast do someting right. I think Ady would be too much of a gamble. Would be nice to see those two given a chance, depending of course on who the other applicants are!

No, no, no , no ! Daish was bloody good ! Dominating in the air, quick and put in some crunching tackles too ! If he hadn't been injury prone he would have gone on to great things. Kimble was a high energy midfielder. Would liken him to Alan McLaughlin.

If those two came in and got the team to play like they did I would be very happy.

Still, think its a load of crap. Its probably just the media linking us with a similar combination to Wise & Poyet.

Hmmm ! Who am I thinking of then ? Maybe Peter Fear ? Remember there was someone who seemed to make space for Leonardsson when Wimbledon started try to play a little less hoof ball.
